There's Got To Be A Way!

Teaching is not an easy job.  It demands a lot of work and consideration.  But, what was so amazing is that there are so many ways to teach.  Above all these different ways to teach, there’s got to be a way of knowing when to use them.  Let me share some of the different methods of teaching in a poem and please name them as you read along.

One of the ways to teach is to discuss things in a group
Everyone in class is divided into a troupe
To find out what is the false and what is the truth
An ample time is given for each one to share and to listen
But when all wanted to stand out, as to speak and to be heard,
Sometimes discussions end in frustration and confusion

Only one talks, everyone listens
You’ ve got to take down notes
For you don’t know what you’ll be missin’
Don’t bother to ask, you’re not allowed to
The lecturer is the ‘star’
He is the expert-so far

Bzzz, bzzzz, small clots are chatting
To discus an issue is just too short
Busy to find a solution to a certain problem
Their answer is to be reported in the plenary
Too quickly a problem can be solved
Short also of facts and the issues are not well absorbed

The panel sitted in front
The experts of a topic they are called
To talk and to mingle
The moderator in the middle
Later on the audience may ask to clarify
The matters that seemed to be unclear

A reminder for you that whenever you teach
Don’t forget to specify the objectives to reach
Try to find out which is the best that would fit
A learning that is at best and a path that is lit
To the road of knowing where the future is laid

Don’t mess up! Really, there’s got to be a way!
